'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane dampens on Premier League homecoming

Kane achieves his hundredth goal for Bayern Munich

Harry Kane has declared that his interest in coming back to the Premier League has diminished and he is prepared to explore a new agreement with Bayern Munich.

The star striker is currently halfway through the four-year agreement he inked when transferring to from Tottenham Hotspur for £86.4m in the transfer window of 2023.

The experienced forward has scored an remarkable 103 goals in 106 matches for the German side, contributing them claim the 2024-25 Bundesliga championship - which represented the first important trophy of his notable career.

Tottenham boss Thomas Frank has previously stated that he would be pleased to see Kane return to England, where he requires 48 goals to overtake Alan Shearer's historic Premier League scoring record of 260.

However, the England leader has now suggested that he is no longer as enthusiastic about returning home as he previously was, and would seriously consider prolonging his time in Bavaria.

"In terms of remaining longer, I could absolutely see that," he stated.

"I spoke openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those conversations with Bayern yet, but if they were to come up I would be willing to talk and have an frank conversation.

"Obviously it relies on how the next year or so unfolds and what we attain together. Right now, I would say we are in a excellent moment and I am not thinking about anything else.

"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had asked me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.

"Now I have been there a couple of years I would likely say that has diminished a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.

"What I have realized in my career is that different options and different periods happen and things work out. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am fully all in with Bayern."

Historic Achievements and Future Ambitions

Kane is the historic top marksman for both Tottenham and England and recently became the quickest player this century to reach 100 goals for a club participating in one of Europe's top five competitions, reaching the achievement in just 104 games for Bayern.

However, a honor had escaped him until he won the German title last season.

Kane states that he was not sure how he would respond after ending his trophy wait, but now feels it has made him motivated for more success.

"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be easy to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he added.

"But it's given me more drive to do more and be better. I think I've shown that this year.

"I was curious in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to attain in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.

"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.

"But for sure, I challenged myself the other way in terms of being even better, eating even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
